Agenda

Parents, below you will be able to see any information that I recommend doing during this time out of school. Please check back periodically as I will be updating as I find new things to keep our kids learning!

#1 https://www.mobymax.com/signin
The first and best thing you can be doing is allowing your child to get on MobyMax while we are out. This website knows where each student is individually so it is on their level. Here is a quick PDF that can help explain how to log into a use MobyMax. https://data.mobymax.com/mc/share/Using_MobyMax_From_Home.pdf
Each student should know their username and the password is "wildcats".
Once you log in the rest of this will make since. -> Some of the activities the students and I use together are the green math boxes, the light blue reading boxes and one purple one that says Foundational Reading. Now be aware the kids earn 'game time' while doing their work so if you do not want them playing games during this computer time you need to remind them no games (or looking at badges).
MobyMax is amazing too because I can see everything that they are doing and assign them lessons. I will be assigning some lessons for them to be doing and they can find this at the top under the picture that looks like a graded paper. This work will not be for a grade but simply to help them stay on track!

#2  https://pebblego.com/
username: hps       password: hps
Pebblego is a great website that students can use to look at information about all sorts of topics. We were going to be using the rest of the month to look at inventors so students can read about them on this website! Starting in April we will be looking at Weather.

#3 Math
You can help your student by having them practice subtracting and adding! You can make flash cards and practice timed tests like 9+9 or 12-4. You can also give them up to 3 digit addition or subtraction. If your student is hesitant about the method that we use then have them practice skip counting by tens forward and backwards starting at any 3 digit number. This is a huge help! If you have access to a printer and have a little extra time (extra time? whats that? lol) you can get on https://www.math-aids.com/ and create worksheets for them to do! If you have no time go throw those babies on MobyMax!

Again, check back for updates as I find them!
