COVID-19 School Closure Helpful Information/Links:

Parents,
I've put together a list of websites and resources you may find helpful during this time of school closures. Please use them as you see fit and do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. Stay healthy!

1. Mobymax- Mobymax is an online program we use daily at HPS. Students know how to use it to learn in a large variety of topics (reading, math, social studies, science, spelling, etc.). They love to play games and earn game time by successfully completing lessons in subject areas. I love this program because it meets students where they are and will reteach lessons to kids when they do not understand. I can send them encouraging messages, rewards, "vibes", etc. from home as well as see how they are doing in their learning and assign lessons for them. I may also make "contests" through Mobymax for students to compete against one another for things like game time, badges, and new games!
Website: mobymax.com/signin/kmarsh
How to Login: Students click on their name, then click on their 2-picture passcode. (they should know how to login once on the login screen)

2. Dreambox- Dreambox is an online math program some of our students use at HPS. They are currently offering a 90-day free trial for at-home use due to the COVID-19 closures! Students seem to enjoy the way math is presented in a game-like format on Dreambox. Not all students have a login yet due to pricing, so your child may not know how to login to Dreambox, and you may have to set them up an account through the free trial.

How to Login: follow the directions on the website to start your 90-day free trial

Please send me your email address to get access to this! (my email is kkmarsh@blountboe.net or use the 'contact me' form on the HPS website)
